Malgré des affirmations contraires répétées, les candides photos prises au Jacob Javits Center fournissent la preuve qu'il pourrait y avoir, en fait, une connection entre l'écrivain/directeur Guillermo del Toro et l'organisation écolo Hetfet.
Quand il a été questionné à promo de ce meeting durant la présentation de Hellboy 2: the Golden Army à le NYC Comicon, del Toro a feint l'ignorance, en disant qu'il n'était au courant d'aucun rassemblement, et qu'il soit vu avec ces gens parmi les manifestants, et certaines sources disent qu'une video circule (NDLR: c'est vrai, voir au-dessus :-)).
Après la présentation, del Toro s'est soudainement excité, refusant de répondre à plus de questions sur le sujet. Evitant tous les journalistes, son agent a dit que l'issue était proche. Toutefois, un observateur avisé a fait remarquer un détail: sous la veste de del Toro, assez obscur, il y avait un T-shirt pourtant distinctement le logo HETFET et la phrase "Soutenez le marché des Trolls".
Par ailleurs, Elizabeth Moora, une ardente défenseuse de HETFET, a cité l'intérêt de del Toro pour le groupe comme une "pure coïncidence". Il est certain que l'affaire n'est pas close!

RUMORS SWIRL AS DEL TORO DENIES AFFILIATION WITH HETET
New York – April 22, 2008 Despite repeated claims to the contrary, candid photographs taken at the Jacob Javits Center deliver startling evidence that that there could, in fact, be a connection between noted writer/director Guillermo del Toro and the so-called grass roots organization called HETFET (Humans for the Ethical Treatment of Faeries, Elves and Trolls) http:// www.hetfet.org.
When asked about the meeting during the “Hellboy 2: The Golden Army” panel at the New York Comic Convention, del Toro feigned ignorance, saying he was unaware of any gatherings, and if he was seen with these HETFET people, it was sheer coincidence. The accompanying and supposedly untouched photo seems to place del Toro with HETFET supporters, and certain sources say supporting video may also be circulating (NDLR: it's thrue, see above :-)).
After the panel, del Toro exited quickly, unwilling to take any more questions on the matter. Deflecting all reporters, his publicist claimed the issue was closed. However, one astute observer noticed a telling detail: beneath del Toro's jacket, slightly obscured, was a t-shirt bearing the distinct logo of HETFET and the phrase "Support Troll Markets."
In related news, Elizabeth Moora, a vocal advocate of HETFET, cited del Toro’s interest in the underground group as “purely coincidental”. It’s safe to say this case is definitely not closed.
